I named Loretta Rose, my o.c mascot, after a Disney channel's movie called Pixel Perfect, where a hologram named Loretta was created by a boy named Roscoe.
I loved the name from the first time I've heard it, so I thought it'll be fun to name an o.c of mine, Loretta and I was like, "Well, I'll name her Loretta.".
Little did I know the name would stick and last for a very long time.
I'm not going to lie, I have many other o.cs that I named after real-life people or already existing fictional characters, so it's not the first time I did that.
For example: Brianna was named after Kick's sister Brianna from Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil.
Dianna was actually named after princess Dianna who unfortunately died in a car crash yet I kept the name because when I was little, and where tikes where I was wearing dresses, some people would just make me compliments that I am like princess Dianna.
Aphrodite was named after both the goddess of beauty Aphrodite from the Greek mythology and after an individual's mom.
Jackson was named after Jackson from Hannah Montana.
Rayan was named after an o.c under the same name who was created by an individual I used to know and stan in the past but after something that had happened, I stopped stanning them.
Penelope was named after both that very same individual I used to know and stan and after Penelope from the story of Homer's Odyssey.
Smaragda was named after Smaragda Karydi, who was a Greek actress.
Fay was named after Vaso Laskaraki's role as Fay from a Greek series called Klemena Onira.
I don't remember where Kyla was named after but I guess she was named after Kyle from FanBoy and ChumChum but I'm a 100% certain the cause of her naming was also after Kylie Minoque who's a pop singer. So let's keep both scenarios.
Medina was named after Medina who's a singer, an actress and a songwriter.
Alina was named after an individual's o.c named Alina.
Deyna was named after Dana from Slugterra.
Nidalee was named after Snow Bunny Nidalee from League of Legends.
Drevor was named after Trevor from a GTA game (I don't remember which one was) but even though I changed the first letter, it still counts.
Bailey was named after Bailey from Suite life on Deck.
Marietta was named after an individual's mother that I used to know.
Bloom was named after Bloom from Winx Club.
Violet was named after Violet from The Incredibles.

So yeah, half of my o.cs have known names while the other half of my o.cs have names I created myself.
