Mastering the DTF Printing Process

Today marked my very first experience printing designs for shirts and tote bags — and I’m proud to say, I handled it like a pro.

Even though it was my first time, I already knew how to operate both the DTF printer and the heat press oven. I followed each step with precision: applying the glue at just the right time while the paper was being fed through the roll, making sure the designs were coated before entering the oven for heat activation.

Sure, a few prints had some minor hiccups (like a bit of excess white ink), but that’s part of the learning curve — and the majority came out flawlessly.

Despite my heart racing a little, I trusted the process, stayed calm, and applied the glue every 10–20 minutes to keep the workflow smooth.

In the end, it all turned out just right — and I’m proud of how it went.
